Description

Having drawn a lot with Grafx2 (version 2.6.2538 SDL on Windows 10 Home) I wanted to ask for comfortable and art reason having a tool for changing the pattern in the "Gradiation menu".

At the moment you can choose out of three kind of dithering aspects (two with dithering).

Would it possible to have "line" dithering as seen in the attached picture?

Kind regards,
Jens

For gradients that are exactly vertical or horizontal, I can imagine the result. But how would it work for an arbitrary angle ? Or does it mean this should constrain the angle to pixel-art friendly ones ? (45°, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5 etc ?)

Yes, you are right!
I was thinking out of the view of a pixel art for 8-Bit computer with a low resolution like C64, CPC or Spectrum etc.
I would contrain it to horizontal, vertical and 45 degrees and so on. Could be a very art effect.
